Training at the Osaka Kung Fu School can transform you—both physically and mentally! The training is certainly not easy, but there is no need to worry. Under the attentive guidance of the Shifu, even someone with average physical fitness - like myself - can not only complete the training but also reap immense benefits. On the other hand, I have also seen seasoned martial artists face tough challenges here.
During daily training, you will experience a variety of stretching routines, exercises designed to boost speed and agility, strength training, dynamic meditation to enhance vitality, and practice numerous Shaolin Kung Fu & Tai Chi forms. Advanced students also have the opportunity to learn and eventually master various weapons, such as a staff, a straight sword, and even an illustrious Kung Fu fan.

Furthermore, the true soul of the school lies in its staff. Both Kathy and the Shifu are incredibly charismatic individuals radiating positive energy. Kathy is exceptionally helpful and always looks out for the students' well-being. I encountered some minor health issues during my stay, but thanks to Kathy’s guidance, I received all the necessary help and quickly returned to training. Her friendly and approachable nature made every cultural class an absolute treat.
The Shifu is not only a master of profound martial skill but also incredibly patient, truly capable of passing his expertise on to his students. His optimistic and cheerful personality helps students summon the strength necessary to persevere through high-intensity training.
